GOD'S DICTIONARY

Writer's picture: Wardell BrantleyWardell Brantley
GOD'S DEFINITIONS AND WEBSTER'S DEFINITIONS JUST DO NOT MATCH. Living this life by Webster's definition will drive you in-sane and make your crazy and cause you to drink, smoke or commit suicide.

He's a Comforter -

Then Why am I struggling with not killing myself right now. For You to be comforter, why am i not be comforted all through this night.

The dictionary describes comforter as:

I am In You and You are in me and that is not what i am experiencing.

So what is Your Definition of Comforter.

One of Yall, You or Webster got the definition wrong. And I know it's not You!

He's a Right Now God - A Very Present Help!

  • I am having a heart attack, a stroke or a seizure - where are you right now!

  • My mom died from her stroke, seizure or anuerism - where were You right now for her!

  • This man is beating me, where are You - right now

  • My spouse is in the bed with another person, where are you right now.

He's a Provider - He's my Provision

Why am I hungry with no food

My Car just broke-down and I have no-money to fix it

He's a Protector - His legion of Angels protect me:

  • My mother died in a car accident. where were the angels - on break or attending to someone else?

  • My five year old child was gang-raped by men..again no angels!

He won't let any deadly thing come on me: I can tread on serpeants and scorpions

  • My grandmother died of covid, cancer etc.

  • My child swalloed baby oil and died.

I AM MY BROTHER'S (My neighbor's) KEEPER. I MUST BEAR-TAKE-ON THEIR BURDEN, BECAUSE I AM STRONGER, WISER IN CHRIST AND CHRIST PREPARED ME TO HANDLE THEIR BURDEN BECAUSE THEY CANNOT.

Galatians 6:2

The burdens we need to help carry for one another include guilt, worry, sorrow, anxiety, and all other similar loads.

Do you want to fulfill the moral requirements of the Law? Love your neighbor. How do you love him? By bearing his burdens.

It’s interesting that Paul would emphasize this theme in an epistle written to confront people who were falling into legalism. It’s as if he were saying, “You want to observe a law? Let it be the law of Christ. If you have to impose burdens on yourselves, let it be through acts of love toward your neighbor.”

If you will do that faithfully, your own burden won’t seem so heavy. Best of all, you will find it easier to keep your focus heavenward, regardless of the trials you suffer in this life.

John 13:34

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
