GOD’S ANGELS PROTECT ME

Heavenly Father I come to You, in full knowledge of Knowing IT’S NOT satan - It’s My Choice - and also knowing IT IS satanic thoughts or influence that is CAUSING MY CHOICE, that I must willfully give into!

I ALSO KNOW YOU ARE HERE ALSO!

YOU ARE JESUS - IN ME - IN YOUR FULLNESS – IT IS YOU JESUS “CAUSING" "PROVOKING" MY CHOICE!

It's my choice!

Genesis 24:40

40 But he said to me, ‘The Lord, before Whom I have walked, will send His Angel with you and prosper your way.

Genesis 24:40 foreshadows the New Testament by illustrating the concept of God's active role in choosing a bride for his son, where Abraham's servant searching for a wife for Isaac is seen as a type of the Holy Spirit seeking and preparing the Church (the Bride of Christ) to be united with Jesus, the ultimate bridegroom; highlighting God's sovereign plan in bringing people into his covenant through faith and grace, just as the servant found Rebekah through God's guidance

Exodus 23:20 says, "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared

Exodus 23:20 foreshadows the New Testament by describing God sending an "angel" to guide and protect the Israelites, which is interpreted by many scholars as a pre-incarnate representation of Jesus Christ, who is seen as the ultimate guide and protector of believers leading them into the "Promised Land" of eternal life, mirroring the physical Promised Land of Canaan in the Old Testament; this verse highlights the concept of God's presence and leadership with his people, a theme central to the New Testament narrative about Jesus

Key points about Your foreshadowing:

  • The "Angel":

The verse mentions God sending an "angel" to go before the Israelites, which is often seen as a reference to Jesus, who would later be described as the "angel of the covenant" in the Old Testament.

  • Guidance and Protection:

This angel is said to "keep thee by the way" and "bring thee into the place which I have prepared," mirroring Jesus' role as the one who guides believers to salvation and a heavenly home.

  • Fulfillment in Jesus:

The New Testament portrays Jesus as the ultimate leader and protector of his followers, fulfilling the promise of God's presence with his people as described in Exodus 23:20.

“The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, Respect-Him Acknowledge-Him and He delivers them.” (Psalm 34:7) Lord I need Your Angels to totally surround me as I go into this work…Thank You Jesus..

“For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11). I need your angelic soldiers to help war in the Spirit for my blessing and to help me stay in You and under Your Authority Hallelujah…thank You Jesus.

“And let the angel of the Lord chase him … And let the angel of the Lord pursue them … Let the destruction come upon him unexpectedly.” (Psalm 35:5-8) Thank You Jesus for charging Your Angels to war for Me…

“Behold, I sent an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.” (Exodus 23:20) I will allow Your Angels (YOU) to keep me and guide me so that I can get to where You have me to be.

I will choose to follow and trust (YOU) and their leading and guiding.

“Are they not all ministering Spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14)

I Thank You for Your Salvation and Your Ministering angels….

Help me to discern and try every spirit by Your Spirit hallelujah..I will not be deceived…

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, BUT TEST THE SPIRITS, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” (1 John 4:1-4)

IN GENESIS 28

In Genesis (28:10-13), You allowed Jacob to see into the Spirit realm and how Your Angels are going up to heaven from earth and coming back down.

and behold, there was a ladder[b] set up on the earth (the ladder was setup on earth), and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the Angels of God were ascending (going-up to heaven) and descending (coming back down to earth) on it!

My Angels are assigned to earth. My Angels are always here on earth with me at all times. My Angels are not in far-away places in the third heaven!

  • First Heaven: The atmosphere surrounding Earth, where birds & clouds are.

  • Second Heaven: The realm of the stars, moon, and sun.

  • Third Heaven: The spiritual abode of God, considered the highest and most divine realm

YOU LEFT RECORD OF HOW YOU USE ANGELS IN OUR LIVES ON EARTH:

Your angels are messengers that You use in the Spiritual and the Natural Realms. They are spirit that can also take on human form and appear visibly to us.

In Genesis 19:1 "And there came two angels to Sodom...Lot seeing them...bowed himself...vs. 3 they...entered into his house...vs 12 And the men said unto Lot...." The angels spoke! Vs. 15. "And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying. Arise..."

Exodus 3:2, "And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire.."

Numbers 22:23, .."And the ass saw the angel of the Lord..." Animals can see angels!

Judges 2:1"And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal...and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt..."

1 Chronicles 21:16, "And David lifted up his eyes, and saw an angel of the Lord stand between earth and heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand..."

Matthew 1:20 "But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph..."

Acts 12:7 "And behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and he raised him up saying, Arise up quickly..."

I could go on and on!

I praise You for my understanding of 1 Corinthians 13:12 and 13

I Thank You Lord for My Angels That are powerful and speak and are near me at all times.

YOU ALSO LEFT SPECIFIC RECORDS OF WHAT YOUR ANGLES DID FOR YOU-JESUS WHILE YOU WERE PHYSICALLY ON EARTH AND WHAT THEY DID FOR MANY OTHERS:

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side to light to guard to rule and guide

ANGELS PROTECTED AND ENCOURAGED YOU JESUS AND ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS

AND AGAIN IN DANIEL SIX

You left record showing us how Your Angel(s) shut the mouths of the Lions:

AND AGAIN IN DANIEL THREE:

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Your Angels kept the fire from burning them.

AND AGAIN IN MARK ONE:

Your Angels came and minstered-to-You Jesus, They took care of You, in Your time of need.

In verse 12, You said, The Spirit immediately drove You (Jesus) out into the wilderness.13 And You was in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by satan. And You was with the wild animals, and the Angels were ministering to You. Angels were governing, guiding, strengthening and protecting You the whole-time that You were in the wilderness,

LUKE 22

Jesus in Your Prayer, You said, Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done.” 43 And there appeared to You (Jesus) an Angel from heaven, strengthening You. 44 And You being in agony, You prayed more earnestly.....

Daniel (10:18) says, one of Your Angels that had the appearance of a man, touched him and strengthened him. I thank You right now for the strength I need to with-stand and respond how You (God) want me to respond right now.

Genesis 24:40

40 But he said to me, ‘The Lord, before Whom I have walked, will send His Angel with you and prosper your way.

My Angels comforting-me, is not-to-say that they will make it easy, it is-to-say, that they will encourage me and empower-me to keep on going especially when the task is hard, difficult, unbelievable or unknown!

LORD; YOU SAID YOU WOULD GO AHEAD OF US AND CLEAR THE WAY. But You also said, We must listen to You and Obey You in-order for us to experience the Blessing of You going before us and clearing the way!

Twelve Times You Lord declared, You would do these things for me:

1) I will guide and lead you to the promised land!

2) I will guard you from your enemies and drive them out from before you!

3) I will cause you to enter the land and there enjoy My Blessing.

All of YOUR PROMISES can be summarized IN YOUR ONE GREAT PROMISE:

I will be Your God and you shall be My people.

1. In Exodus 23:20 the Lord tells Israel, “I am sending an angel ahead of you.” What will this angel do? What is unique about this angel?

Pay attention to him and obey him; do not provoke him, for he will not pardon your transgression, because my Name is in him. (Exodus 23:21)

In Exodus 23:20 the Lord declares, “I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.” This angel would serve to guide the people of Israel through their wilderness journey until He had finally brought them into the Promised Land of Canaan. This angel was no mere angel, He was the Angel of the Lord, an Old Testament manifestation of Christ Himself—note that the Lord declares, “My Name is in Him” (verse 21).

2. How are the people of Israel to respond to this angel and why? See Exodus 23:21

Because this angel has been sent by God, and is in fact Christ the Lord, the people are instructed and warned, “Pay attention to him.”

They must not disregard the Word of God as it was communicated by the Angel of the Lord nor may they treat Him with contempt. Furthermore, the people are instructed to obey Him. In other words, not only must they reverently listen to Him, they must respond to His instructions and commandments with faith and obedience.

Finally, they are warned, “Do not provoke him.” That is to say, the people must not rebel against Him, rejecting His divine lordship over their lives. The reason the people are warned to obey Christ and not provoke Him is due to the fact that “he will not pardon your transgression” (verse 21).

3. What does the Lord mean when He informs the people that His angel “will not pardon your transgression?”

“Transgression” has the meaning of willful, stubborn, determined and defiant disobedience without repentance—it is refusal to yield to Christ’s lordship. This is something that Christ will not tolerate. Luke 19:27, “…those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.” In this passage, by means of a parable, the Lord Jesus expresses His attitude towards defiance against His divine lordship and the adamant refusal to submit to that lordship.

4. The Lord warns His people that when they enter the land of Canaan they must not conform to the practices of the Canaanites.

How many promises does the Lord make to His people if they are faithful to Him? Exodus 23:22-23,25-28,30-31

But if you will obey him and do all that I say, then

I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries,

(23) for my angel will go ahead of you and bring you in to the land of the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, and I will wipe them out…

(25) You shall serve Jehovah your God, and he will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.

(26) None shall miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

(27) I will send my terror ahead of you and will throw into confusion all the people you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run from you.

(28) I will send “the hornet” ahead of you to drive the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites out of your way…

(30) Little by little I will drive them out of your way, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.

(31) I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates River;

for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out of your way (Exodus 23:22-23,25-28,30-31)

In this passage the Lord makes 12 promises to His people!

The 12 promises can be broken down into three great promises:

1) I will guide and lead you to the promised land of Canaan;

2) I will guard you from your enemies and drive them out from before you;

3) I will cause you to enter the land and there enjoy My blessing.

All the promises can be summarized as parts of the Lord’s one great promise:

I will be your God and you shall be My people.
